In a recent long-term report on the state of the economy, CNN-Money.com noted that even with today's economic uncertainty on Main Street and Wall Street, "Education Stocks Are Making The Grade..." WHY? Because during recessions and financial downturns, people often turn to education as a way to retrain themselves for a better future. Rough economic conditions are sometimes the catalyst that force people to take action on a new career path.
